Tribute to Ustad Zakir Hussain

The program will be a tribute to Ustad Zakir Hussain and celebrate his life and work that has inspired so many the world over. The evening will start with a Sarod and Tabla recital featuring Sanjay Chakrabarty on the Sarod and Vimal Venkatram, a disciple of Ustad Alla Rakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain, on the Tabla followed by an audio-visual presentation of some of the greatest recordings of Ustad Zakir Hussain over the past 6 decades.
